Mark Wickersham Named Director of Product Management at ByAllAccounts
ByAllAccounts announced Tuesday that Mark Wickersham has joined the firm as director of product management. With over 20 years of experience, Wickersham spent 10 years in product development and user experience testing with Fidelity, serving as director of product management for its RIA group, senior director for family office services and design director for its retail trading area.
Wickersham began his career as a business analyst with The Boston Co. He later spent three years at Thomson Financial as an account manager, supporting global asset managers and regional family offices with portfolio management and trade order management software solutions. He also spent three years as a senior associate with Family Office Metrics, consulting on people, process and technology for single and multifamily offices.
Salient Partners Hires David Linton
Salient Partners L.P. announced Tuesday that David Linton has joined as managing director, responsible for leading retail sales and distribution activities. He brings 25 years of financial industry experience, most recently as managing director and head of sales for the Van Kampen Investments division of Morgan Stanley in Chicago. His career also includes tenures at financial services firms including Sun America Capital Services, ING/Pilgrim Funds, Northstar Funds and Dean Witter Reynolds.
Salient has also named David Clifford as its new chief strategy officer. In this role, he will be focused on product platform development, marketing and technologies. Prior to this, he was the head of Salient’s sales and distribution platform.
MassMutual Retirement Services Hires Mezey, Promotes Budd
MassMutual's Retirement Services Division announced Feb. 15 the promotion of John Budd. It also welcomed Brian Mezey to its sales and client management organization, led by Hugh O'Toole, senior vice president.
In this newly created role, Budd is national practice leader covering the division's institutional retirement products, and is responsible for leading distribution strategy for stable value investment only and defined benefit businesses. Most recently, he had served as managing director with MassMutual Retirement Services, a position he held for over 24 years. Budd reports to Jonathan Shuman, vice president and head of business development for the division.
Mezey joined the division as managing director of institutional sales, taking over Budd's duties and reporting to Scott Buffington, national sales manager for the division. He is responsible for working with retirement plan advisors in the mid- and large markets and is partnered with Andy Hanlon covering the eastern New England region. He joins from E&M Consulting of Raymond James & Associates Inc., where he was a retirement plan advisor and a member of MassMutual's Advisor Partners Council.
Rohith Eggidi Joins Brinton Eaton as Investment Analyst
Brinton Eaton announced Tuesday that Rohith Eggidi has joined the firm as an investment analyst, after a several-month engagement as an investment consultant to the firm. He will work on quantitative analysis and risk-modeling projects for the firm’s investment management clients.
Prior to this, Eggidi worked for OmniMarkets as a quantitative analyst intern where he was involved in several projects related to alternative asset valuation. He previously worked for Samsung India Software Operations Pvt. Ltd. as a software engineer and developer.
Allianz Life Promotes Jasmine Jirele
Allianz Life Insurance Co. of North America announced Tuesday that it has named Jasmine Jirele as the new senior vice president, enterprise operations. In this role, she will be responsible for leading operational and service processes, including new business, in-force, operations controls, contact center, and related supporting functions. She will also lead the company’s Policy Administration Solution project.
During her five years with Allianz Life, Jirele has served in various roles, most recently as vice president of market management and product innovation. She also led new product development and implementation for all annuities and life insurance, working collaboratively with several departments. Prior to joining Allianz Life, she held various leadership roles with 3M.
Richard Aneser Named Chief Marketing Officer of Lincoln Financial Distributors
Lincoln Financial Distributors, the wholesale distribution subsidiary of Lincoln Financial Group, announced Tuesday that Richard Aneser has joined the organization as chief marketing officer, effective immediately. In this newly created position, he will play a role in driving business results through strategic marketing for the portfolio of insurance and retirement products offered through financial advisors, institutions, insurance brokerages and consultants in the U.S. He will report to Will Fuller, president and CEO.
Aneser joins with more than two decades of marketing experience, on both the agency and corporate sides. Prior to joining, he served as managing director and head of advisory and solutions marketing and Wealth Management Americas for UBS. He also held a range of marketing roles with Merrill Lynch from 2002-2009. Earlier in his career, he served at Fidelity Investments and before that, at Hill, Holliday Advertising, Seigel & Gale, Wells Rich Greene BDDP and AC&R Advertising.
US SIF Appoints Managing Partner of New Amsterdam Partners to Board
The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment (US SIF) announced Friday that Michelle Clayman, managing partner and chief investment officer of New Amsterdam Partners, is the newest member of its board of directors. Clayman will fill the board chair vacated by Cliff Rosenthal, CEO of the National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions.
Clayman serves on the board of directors of the Society of Quantitative Analysts and the Institute for Quantitative Research in Finance and also is active on the Asset Manager Code of Conduct Committee of the CFA Institute. A frequent commentator in financial media, Clayman has published articles in the Financial Analysts Journal, the Finance Professionals’ Post and the Journal of Investing. She is a co-editor of “Corporate Finance: A Practical Approach.”
